Crude Bitters Expanding Business in Downtown Raleigh

Great news today in TBJ: Crude Bitters & Sodas expanding in downtown Raleigh

According to the team at Crude‘s new Kickstarter page, they “recently signed a lease on a new production space in downtown Raleigh which would allow [them] to increase [their] bitters and soda production and build a small tasting room”.

The brand now has numerous retailers and bars in North Carolina, as well Charleston, Richmond, New Orleans and Denver selling their product and with the help of backers, they plan to expand into more areas and products: “We plan to use our brand spanking new space to craft more batches of year-round and seasonal bitters. The first release will be an Orange and Fig bitters with North Carolina figs and a limited release of Cherry and Walnut featuring North Carolina cherries from this past season. Upcoming fall and winter releases will be Apple-Ginger-Persimmon, Smoke and Salt and Blood Orange”.

The money raised on Kickstarter will go to assisting in the build out of a new kitchen and tasting room, buying ingredients, bottles, growlers, kegs, wide mouth carboys, tanks, and packing supplies in order to sustain larger production and distribution.
