DRA’s The Raleigh Mix Returns for Summer 2014

Isaac Hunter’s Hospitality has signed on to sponsor the 2014 remix of “The Raleigh Mix”, a merchant program produced by the Downtown Raleigh Alliance (DRA) to promote downtown Raleigh nightclub venues to the Triangle community, with their Common 414 and Paddy O’Beers Fayetteville Street businesses.

New this summer is what the DRA is calling a “live music element to further showcase the diverse and eclectic nightlife in Downtown Raleigh”. The program “aims to draw people into the downtown Raleigh districts and to explore or rediscover its nightlife and live music scene.”

Participating venues waive charging a cover at the door on both Friday nights. On Friday, July 25, participating nightlife venues and dance clubs will feature a special guest DJ and creative drink specials. On Friday, August 1 (First Friday!), patrons will have the opportunity to experience downtown’s live music scene at participating pubs and nightlife venues where venues will offer an “intriguing specialty cocktail featuring the same ‘secret ingredient’ — only to be unveiled the night of the event”, according to the press release issued by the DRA.
