Person Street Bar now open

Although their website and Facebook don’t seem to be totally up to date, @NewRaleigh is reporting that as of Monday, March 17, Person Street Bar is open for business daily from 4pm-2am at 805 N. Person Street.

Described on their website as:

A local, independent, neighborhood bar on the outskirts of downtown in the North Person Street corridor. We are directly between Oakwood and Mordecai, at 805 North Person Street, right next door to Yellow Dog Bakery, across the street from Retro Fitness, around the corner from the Raleigh City Farm and Oak City Cycling Project.

… Person Street Bar becomes the latest addition to the area, following Niall Hanley’s recent opening of The Station.

Since Person Street Bar is not serving food, be prepared to apply for a “membership” at the door for $5.00.
